Leśny Gród to swoista magiczna kraina koło Milówki, na stokach góry Prusów, założona przez miejscowego przedsiębiorcę, Grzegorza Śleziaka. Inspiracją do założenia tego ogrodu były podróże pana Śleziaka w egzotyczne zakątki świata. Przedsięwzięcie łączyć ma w swym założeniu wartości estetyczne, poznawanie egzotycznych roślin i zwierząt oraz zabawę. Kompozycję ogrodu uzupełniają rzeźby nawiązujące do różnych kultur.

Leśny Gród jest owocem pasji i dużego nakładu pracy właściciela i pracowników. W tym magicznym zakątku zobaczymy elementy orientalne, do których należą ogród japoński czy ścieżki Feng Shui. Przede wszystkim jednak jest tu pełno zieleni. Rośnie tutaj kilka tysięcy gatunków roślin. Po ogrodzie przechadza się mała owieczka oraz zwierzęta wypuszczane z klatek tj kaczki biegusy(fot) oraz gęsi Landes. W stawach, które urozmaicają kompozycję ogrodu, pływają rybki. Znalazły się tu także miejsca wypoczynkowe z ławeczkami, huśtawką oraz zjeżdżalnią dla dzieci.

Ogród pełni też rolę dydaktyczną. Dla grup przedszkolaków oraz dzieci szkolnych przygotowano tutaj także mały program edukacyjny o zwyczajach pszczół oraz o owcy wrzosówce. W ogrodzie chętni mogą ponadto kupić sadzonki różnych roślin a dzieci mogą w ramach rozwijania zdolności plastycznych - pomalować gipsowe figurki, które zabierają ze sobą na pamiątkę.

Magic place
Lesny Grod is a botanic park in the mountains that was created by a passionate and traveling man – Grzegorz Sleziak. The park is located in the middle of the forest, by the trail towards Hala Boracza. The Park’s Lesny Grod character is educational/recreational. This unbelivable if not magic place has a connection of two main elements – plant life, based on the symbolism of the certain types of plants. The Yew-Tree symbolizes silence, birch trees giving off energy of life, apple trees which are the symbol of fertillization and the wild life- which is represented by house birds and ornaments and the traditional educational enclosure with Wrzos sheeps, which is placed under Protection Program. The plants in the park were planted by the levitating technique, which means that they were not burried in the ground but rather laid on the ground and covered in it. It makes this park more unique then other parks founded in Poland. Uniqueness of the park Lesny Grod is rooted in the wealth of appearance of the plant life. Besides the local wild life and plantations you can also find exotic plants such as: bamboo, japanese pine trees also red and green clone palms. When spring season is on its way in, the Lesny Grod flourishes hundreds of daffodils, grape hyacinth, in the summer rhodendrones, wisteria and lillys flourish. During the fall season dominates the decorative grass like: fountain grass, giant chinese silver grass and pampas grass. The entire season starting from May till October the park flourshies life. In the seven lakes which are located there, there’s a few species of fish and frogs such as: bombina variegata, common toad. They are both protected under endangered species. The thrusts birds singing makes the park visit very enjoyable. It is a great place to relax and to learn, surrounded by the nature, its beautiful landscape and Beskid Zywiecki scenery. Since May 2014 The Lesny Grod Foundation has taken over the ownership of the park.
