The LifeScience Klaster Krakow comprise more then 70 private and public entities recruiting from biotech & lifescience business sector, universities & research institutes, hospital & other health care services, business support organisations and government sector. The idea to form and sustain a commercially viable cluster initiative dedicated to “life sciences” has been developed on understanding and recognition of the already existing potential of both life science industry and research & development sector present in Krakow and the Region. The initiative directly addresses goals included in Regional Innovation Strategy mission statement which aims to increase the level of innovation and competitiveness through stimulating the cooperation of SME's with a wide range of institutions in the field of science, research& development, and transfer of technologies.
